









While breaking old and celebrating new traditions, the CalArts Graduation celebrated the graduation class of 2015 and "The CalArts Story". An audience of 3000 enjoyed an evening-long outdoor ceremony celebrating the sights, sounds, traditions, and graduates of CalArts. The full evening included fully designed and staged Graduation ceremony, including live music acts, Gamelan Ensemble, African Dance and Drumming Ensemble, with fully catered reception.

Original theater piece created by Marissa Chibas, starring Roger Guenveur Smith and actress and political activist Tonantzin Carmelo, which explored the diverse racial and cultural makeup of historic Los Angeles. L.A. Founding Families was performed at the historic Pico House in downtown Los Angeles in May 2013.
